How Lugshare works
Shippers can list their intended route, when they intend to travel, and describe what they are willing to deliver and what they will not; then post it on the Lugshare platform.
The sender will search the platform to find a suitable shipper for their parcel. Both parties are encouraged to communicate with each other to clear up any expectations before booking. Shippers have the option to pick up the package directly from the sender or pick it up from a Lugshare center and have it security checked before shipping.

My research shows there is a need to support seniors moving to Canada. Families are concerned because seniors do not speak English and have little travel experience. Lugshare can provide senior relocation services that are profitable and have a positive social impact.
Canadians love their pets, with a high percentage of households owning a dog or cat. However, the pandemic has caused a surge in demand for pet adoptions, leading to long wait times. Importing pets is an option, but transporting them to Canada is a challenge. Lugshare can bridge this gap by connecting pet owners with travellers willing to transport pets from abroad.
